Exploring the Possibility of Using Molten Carbonate Fuel Cell for the Flexible Coproduction of Hydrogen and Power

Fuel cells are electrochemical devices that conventionally used to convert the chemical energy of fuels into electricity while producing heat as a byproduct. High temperature fuel such molten carbonate and solid oxide produce significant amounts can be for internal reforming natural gas mixtures which rich in hydrogen, also electricity. This opens up possibility using high systems designed flexible coproduction hydrogen power at very system efficiency. In previous study, flowsheet software Cycle-Tempo has been determine technical feasibility cell by running different utilization factors (between 60 95%). Lower correspond higher production utilization, standard operation is achieved. study uses same basis investigate how with performs identical conditions Cycle-Tempo.
